The Hoover Metropolitan Complex

Phase II of the Hoover Metropolitan Complex outdoor facility includes five NCAA regulation-size soccer/football/lacrosse fields (can be converted to ten youth fields), five NCAA regulation-size baseball/softball fields (four with artificial turf, one with natural grass), 16 tennis courts with pro shop, a playground, a splash pad, and a large event lawn.

This project truly has something for everyone. It’s home to a baseball stadium, RV park, indoor climbing area, and a disability-inclusive splash pad and playground. Its Finley Center is a multi-use indoor sports facility that can accommodate a variety of large gatherings, and its variable configurations allow for multiple activities to take place at the same time. During phase two, we added NCAA regulation-size soccer, football, baseball, softball, and lacrosse fields, tennis courts, and a walking track.

"A project of this magnitude, with such an accelerated timeframe and a very hard deadline at the end, requires an incredible and highly talented design and construction management team. The team members were provided an opportunity to shine with this project. And shine they did!"
