Cone Health Heart and Vascular Center Expansion and Renovation

Heart disease is the second leading cause of death in North Carolina, making the need for better testing and treatment for heart and vascular disease felt across the state. The expansion consists of 156,000 sq ft of programmed space on four floors and a one floor reserved for future development. The project also includes an 18,000 sq ft expansion and 20,000 sq ft of renovations across two floors in six phases. These updates increase Cone Health’s diagnostics to better treat and detect heart disease—often before symptoms arise.
