Brasfield & Gorrie Starts Work on Madison, Mississippi, Health Clinic

January 21, 2021

General contractor Brasfield & Gorrie recently started work on a primary care center of the future in Madison. Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi and Baptist Memorial Health Care are partnering on the care center. The care center will use a team approach with physicians, wellness coaches, pharmacy staff and care coordinators collaborating to help patients take a proactive approach to their health.

“This transformational project will help residents of Madison and its surrounding areas pursue better health. Building strong communities is central to Brasfield & Gorrie’s purpose, and we’re honored to play a role in that by building this important facility,” said Vice President and Division Manager Ryan Springer.

The primary care center is scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2021.

Brasfield & Gorrie’s Jackson, Mississippi, office is managing the construction project. The general contractor has completed numerous prominent projects in the state, including the Kathy and Joe Sanderson Tower at Children’s of Mississippi and the District at Eastover mixed-use urban revitalization development in the heart of downtown Jackson. The contractor is ranked No. 3 nationally among top general contracting companies in healthcare construction by Modern Healthcare magazine, based on 2019 revenues.
