Brasfield & Gorrie’s Nashville office constructing, planning to occupy space in 1201 Demonbreun

Nashville, Tenn. (Oct. 27, 2014) – Brasfield & Gorrie today announced that the company’s Nashville, Tennessee, office has signed a lease to occupy space at 1201 Demonbreun, a new office tower the general contractor is building in Nashville’s Gulch neighborhood near downtown and Music Row.

“We look forward to being downtown in a building we have constructed,” said Brasfield & Gorrie Regional Vice President Clay Bright. “The amenities that the Gulch and downtown have to offer within easy walking distance and the direct access to I-65 and I-40 make this location extremely attractive and will help us attract top talent.”

Brasfield & Gorrie plans to make the move in the spring of 2017 following the completion of the 15-story tower. Other committed tenants include talent agency William Morris Endeavor, law firm Neal & Harwell, and Sony Music Nashville.

Brasfield & Gorrie began constructing the $50 million office tower in August 2014. The 680,000 sq ft project includes 305,000 sq ft of office space as well as a 375,000 sq ft parking deck with 950 spaces and two below-grade levels. Retail and restaurant space will be located on the street level of this building. The building will pursue Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Silver certification.

Brasfield & Gorrie is teaming with developer Eakin Partners and architect Hastings Architecture Associates on this project, which will be completed in late 2016.
