Company supports nation’s oldest and largest Veterans Day celebration

Birmingham, Ala. (Nov. 8, 2013) – Brasfield & Gorrie today announced that it will sponsor National Veterans Day in Birmingham, the largest and oldest celebration of its kind in the U.S.

The company will participate in the observance that will feature a series of renowned events including the annual Veterans Day parade, World Peace Luncheon, a memorial service, and the National Veterans Award Dinner at which the Tuskegee Airmen will be honored. The events are organized by National Veterans Day in Birmingham, a non-profit 501 (c) (4) corporation founded in 1945.

On Monday, November 11, Brasfield & Gorrie employees are expected to participate in a special team outing to view the parade. The company also will communicate a special greeting via its internal networks to acknowledge its own veteran employees for their military service.
