Brasfield & Gorrie Selected for MTSU Upgrade and Renovation

University project expected to start in fall 2013

Murfreesboro, Tennessee (June 25, 2013) Brasfield & Gorrie has been announced as the general contractor on the Murphy Center improvements project at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU).

The project, expected to begin this fall, will include heating, ventilation, and air conditioning upgrades, lighting and acoustical upgrades, and renovations to public spaces. A new roof will be added as well.

This renovation is Brasfield & Gorrie’s third project with MTSU and the Tennessee Board of Regents. M. Shanks Architect and Smith Seckman Reid (SSR) are also on the project team.
