Contractor receives safety awards from two Alabama construction organizations

Birmingham, Ala. (May 6, 2016) – The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Alabama and the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) Alabama Chapter recognized Brasfield & Gorrie at the organizations’ joint Safe Day awards banquet May 5, 2016, in Birmingham.

Brasfield & Gorrie earned three honors for its exceptional safety program and performance. The firm received the Platinum Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) Award and a first-place Safe Day Eagle Award. In addition, the firm received an Innovation Award recognizing its joint venture mentoring programs and daily crew work plans.Eagle-1-300x200

As part of Brasfield & Gorrie’s commitment to safety, its top corporate value, the company is joining with other construction industry stakeholders this week to sponsor Safety Week 2016, an industry-wide initiative that aims to help raise awareness of safety in construction. During the week of May 2-6, 2016, the company is observing Safety Week 2016 with events and activities at its offices and jobsites.
