Brasfield & Gorrie Receives Accolades from National Construction Organization

General contractor receives eight national awards from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC)
Birmingham, Ala. (March 23, 2018) – General contractor Brasfield & Gorrie received eight national awards from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) at their 28th annual Excellence in Construction awards banquet on March 21 in Long Beach, California. Brasfield & Gorrie was recognized for its work on projects in a variety of market sectors, including federal, senior living, aerospace, water, industrial, and commercial.
The company received five first-place Eagle awards and three second-place Pyramid awards.

The five Brasfield & Gorrie projects recognized by ABC with first-place Eagle awards are 39 Dexter Mixed-Use in Montgomery, Alabama; Carolina Bay at Autumn Hall Continuing Care Retirement Community Main Campus in Wilmington, North Carolina; NASA Space Launch System Test Stands at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama; Southern Blanking Steel Processing Facility Phases I and II in Columbia, Tennessee; and Pizitz Building and Parking Deck Renovations in Birmingham, Alabama.
The three Brasfield & Gorrie projects recognized by ABC with second-place Pyramid awards are Owens, Statum and Wall Southeast Water Treatment Plant in Huntsville, Alabama; AvidXchange Headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina; and Bridgestone Tower in Nashville, Tennessee.
