Brasfield & Gorrie Named Largest Contractor in Southeast

Company also ranks as top green builder

July 15, 2013 — Brasfield & Gorrie has been ranked as the largest contractor in the Southeast according to Engineering News-Record (ENR) magazine in its annual ranking of industry leaders. The magazine also identified the company as the largest green contractor in the Southeast.

To determine these rankings, ENR administered an extensive survey that evaluated participating companies for their revenues from construction projects in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina during 2012. Brasfield & Gorrie ranked as the number two general contractor last year.

“These rankings reflect the contributions of our talented teams throughout the Southeast who are committed to ensuring that we meet and exceed the expectations of our clients,” said Jeff Stone, Brasfield & Gorrie Chief Operating Officer. “We will use this recognition to further bolster our efforts throughout the Southeast and beyond.”

Additionally, Brasfield & Gorrie was ranked in the following categories by ENR:

• #1 largest healthcare contractor in the Southeast
• #1 largest general building contractor in the Southeast
• #1 largest contractor in Florida
• #1 largest contractor in Georgia
• #3 largest manufacturing general contractor in the Southeast
• #3 largest contractor in South Carolina
• #4 largest sports and recreation contractor in the Southeast
• #4 largest residential contractor in the Southeast
• #6 largest power contractor in the Southeast
• #10 telecommunications contractor in the Southeast
• #10 largest contractor in North Carolina
