Omni Nashville Hotel opens its doors to the public on September 30

Nashville, Tenn. (Sept. 30, 2013) — Brasfield & Gorrie today celebrated the grand opening of the new Omni Nashville Hotel, which is the second largest hotel in Tennessee.

The 890,000 sq ft luxury hotel includes 800 rooms, 80,000 sq ft of meeting space and a 640-space parking deck. The hotel also features a number of amenities and venues, including a full-service restaurant, an upscale steakhouse, a live entertainment food venue, coffee shop, and a luxury spa and fitness center.

“Working with Omni Hotels & Resorts, we recognized their desire to build one of the most luxurious hotels in the state, and we appreciated the opportunity to help make their vision a reality,” said Rob Taylor, Brasfield & Gorrie Region President. “We hope this hotel will bring more visitors to the area and help place Nashville even more in the national spotlight.”

The Omni Nashville Hotel was built in conjunction with the Country Music Hall of Fame expansion, which also was constructed by Brasfield & Gorrie, and it sits directly adjacent to the new Music City Center. The hotel and the Country Music Hall of Fame’s 10,000 sq ft addition are both part of an entertainment development designed to attract more conventions, groups, and events to downtown Nashville. Both facilities have generated excitement within the Nashville community and are expected to increase economic growth in the region.

Brasfield & Gorrie broke ground on the Omni Nashville Hotel in June 2011. The hotel is seeking Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Silver certification.
