Ribbon cutting ceremony marks opening of new facility

Chattanooga, Tenn. (March 2, 2016) – Brasfield & Gorrie joined Coca-Cola Bottling Company United, Inc. yesterday for a ribbon cutting ceremony marking the opening of the new Coca-Cola Bottling Company United distribution and sales center in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Situated on a 38-acre site that was previously home to Olan Mills, the single-story, 350,000 sq ft facility includes 231,000 sq ft of warehouse space as well as 40,000 sq ft of office space, a fleet maintenance shop and a truck wash bay.

Chattanooga Coca-Cola will move its distribution facility and regional offices to the new center, while bottling operations will continue at the company’s existing location. The company invested in this new, state-of-the-art facility to meet growing regional demand, and will add new jobs at the new location.

Serving as general contractor, Brasfield & Gorrie teamed with architect Design Group Facility Solutions on this project.
