Brasfield & Gorrie Celebrates Going Vertical Event

Birmingham, Ala.— Brasfield & Gorrie marked a major milestone on the 29Seven Mixed-Use building in the Lakeview district of downtown Birmingham.

On Friday, January, 27, the going vertical event was held and recognized the ongoing construction of the structure. The new building will include three stories of wood framed, for lease apartments, over a full level of retail shell space.

The 29Seven project is part of the Birmingham Construction Industry Authority (BCIA), which assists in the growth of minority business enterprises.

Brasfield & Gorrie is partnered with project owner Retail Specialists, Inc. and architect, LIVE Design Group.

Brasfield & Gorrie began construction in November 2011 and the project is scheduled to complete in August 2012.
