Brasfield & Gorrie Breaks Ground on the Banks Phase II

Construction begins on second phase of mixed-use development on banks of Ohio River

Atlanta, Ga. (June 12, 2014) – Brasfield & Gorrie recently broke ground on the second phase of The Banks development in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Located on the banks of the Ohio River between Great American Ballpark and Paul Brown Stadium, The Banks is a master-planned, mixed-use development.
The second phase of the development will include 291 apartments and 19,000 sq ft of retail space, as well as 200,000 sq ft of garage and podium space.
Serving as general contractor, Brasfield & Gorrie’s Atlanta office is teaming with master developer Carter and architect The Preston Partnership on this phase of the project, which will be completed in the first quarter of 2016.
Brasfield & Gorrie completed the first phase of this development, Current at the Banks, in 2011.
Once all phases are complete, The Banks will include roughly 2.8 million sq ft of new mixed-use construction, including up to 1 million sq ft of office space, 1,800 housing units, 200 hotel rooms, 300,000 sq ft of retail space and a 45-acre park.
