Brasfield & Gorrie Begins Construction of New Hanover Regional Medical Center Emergency Department

Work begins on $15.1 million freestanding emergency department

Raleigh, N.C. (April 30, 2014) – Brasfield & Gorrie today announced the start of construction on the New Hanover Regional Medical Center (NHRMC) Emergency Department, a $15.1 million freestanding structure in Wilmington, N.C.

Located next to NHRMC’s Atlantic SurgiCenter, this new 28,000 sq ft facility will offer improved access and convenience to those needing emergency care in the northern part of New Hanover County.

Brasfield & Gorrie’s Raleigh office is teaming with architect BBH Design to construct the emergency department, which will be completed in 2015.
