Brasfield & Gorrie Begins Construction on Arthrex Manufacturing Facility

General contractor Brasfield & Gorrie recently began construction on a new manufacturing facility in Anderson, South Carolina, for Arthrex Inc., a global orthopedic medical device company headquartered in Naples, Florida.

The $37 million project includes a 250,000 sq ft medical device manufacturing building, a 30,000 sq ft central services office building, and a 936-space parking area, all located on a 200-acre site with room for future growth. Arthrex projects that the manufacturing facility will create more than 1,000 new jobs in Anderson County over the next several years.

Brasfield & Gorrie is collaborating with architect LAI Design Group on this project, which is slated for completion in early 2019.

Brasfield & Gorrie established a brick and mortar Greenville office in 2013, but the company has been working in the area for more than 30 years. Current projects in the area include the Camperdown mixed-use development and Clemson University Center for Nursing, Health Innovation, and Research.
