Alabama Construction Organization Recognizes Brasfield & Gorrie for Excellence in Construction

Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Alabama honors 10 Brasfield & Gorrie projects

Birmingham, Ala. (October 16, 2015) – Brasfield & Gorrie today announced that the company has been honored by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Alabama chapter.

During an awards ceremony yesterday in Birmingham, Alabama, 10 of the general contractor’s projects were honored for excellence in construction, with nine projects earning first-place Eagle Awards and one earning a second-place Merit Award.

The nine projects honored with Eagle Awards include: Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Auburn, Alabama; GE Aviation Assembly and Manufacturing Facility in Lafayette, Indiana; Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama; Highlands United Methodist Church in Birmingham, Alabama; Jordan-Hare South End-Zone Modifications Project in Auburn, Alabama; St. Vincent’s Bruno Cancer Center in Birmingham, Alabama; The Literacy Council of Central Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama; Wallace Creek North Bachelors Enlisted Quarters in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina; and the Wilford and Kate Bailey Small Animal Teaching Hospital in Auburn, Alabama.

Brasfield & Gorrie also received a Merit Award in recognition of its work on the new UAB Medical West Freestanding Emergency Department in Hoover, Alabama.
