WellStar Paulding Hospital is a replacement facility that includes a seven-story, 295,700 sq ft hospital, a four-story, 82,220 sq ft medical office building (MOB) that ties in to an existing MOB, and a 120,000 sq ft precast parking deck. Paulding Hospital, WellStar’s first replacement hospital, is the first hospital in the country conditioned solely on geothermal energy.
Paulding Hospital was Brasfield & Gorrie’s seventh OSHA Strategic Partnership Program project. This voluntary program seeks to reduce and eliminate work-related injuries and illnesses through a wide array of initiatives to control workplace hazards, increase safety and health systems, and increase the number of trained employees.
