Texoma Medical Center is a full-service, 252-bed, greenfield replacement facility constructed on 36 acres in Denison, Texas. This Lean construction project consisted of approximately 370,000 sq ft of new construction, including 28,000 sq ft of shell space for future beds. The eight-story facility includes a 12-room operating suite, 32-bed intensive care unit, and 26-bed emergency room. The original hospital was completed in 2009. In 2018, Brasfield & Gorrie completed a four-story, 122,000 sq ft emergency department addition and renovation project. This project added 32 emergency beds on the first floor, 20 ICU beds on the second floor, 20 med-surg beds and 12 NICU beds on the third floor, and shell space for future growth on the fourth floor.
