Kloeckner Metals is one of the leading metal distributors in North America. This design-build project includes 87,500 sq ft of processing and coil storage bays as well as 5,500 sq ft of office space. Constructed on a 16-acre greenfield site at ThyssenKrupp Industrial Park in Calvert, Alabama, the steel service center will initially offer slitting and will expand its processes to include cut-to-length, blanking, and multi-blanking. A railroad spur, used for shipping the finished product, was also included.
