The Highlands Student Life Center includes a 19,900 sq ft single story facility on The Highlands School campus. The main entry greets parents, teachers, and students with 17-foot wood ceilings, pendant lights, and an abundance of natural light. Interior spaces include four classrooms, two seminar rooms, a lunchroom, full-service kitchen with walk-in cooler and freezer, gym with regulation basketball court, locker rooms, storm shelter, faculty lounge, restrooms, and other support spaces. The storm shelter includes FEMA-rated doors, frames, and hardware that have been tested for wind speeds up to 250 mph.
