The Coosa River Dams Aeration Project included installation of new aeration systems for three dams: Weiss, Neely Henry, and Logan Martin. Three units were installed at each dam. The project included civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical scopes. The aeration systems add oxygen into the water around each dam, increasing the dissolved oxygen levels in the water discharged from the dams’ generating units to improve the water quality for fish and other aquatic species.
