This design-build operational and maintenance complex for the U.S. Marine Corps’ Marine Air Support Squadron was delivered through our small business Mentor-Protégé Joint Venture. The multifacility complex includes five major elements and facilities: a headquarters facility for the squadron complex and its major functional elements; a maintenance facility that accommodates vehicles, functional equipment, preventative maintenance, and correctional maintenance; a supply warehouse with high-bay storage, issue point, and management offices; a hazardous storage structure for combustibles, fluids, and consumables; and a pre-engineered metal building for storage of equipment and office space. The project incorporates low-impact development construction techniques, antiterrorism/force protection standards, and sustainability strategies.
