Canterbury Court is a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community located on a 5.5-acre site.

The Canterbury Court expansion included a nine-story apartment building housing one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments totaling approximately 194,000 sq ft. The building contains 120 units with a total of 219 bedrooms. The project also included 36,460 sq ft of common area expansion that consisted of a full-service wellness center, indoor pool, aerobic area, exercise room, chapel, dining venue, business center, preventive care center, convocation room, woodworking shop, and support spaces.

In addition to the expansion, Brasfield & Gorrie also renovated the existing building, including relocating and expanding the personal care/assisted living spaces, increasing the number of private intermediate care nursing beds, renovating two one-bedroom apartments, expanding and renovating the primary dining areas, enhancing the parking area, and adding a parking deck.
