The Allied Health Science Center at Central Carolina Community College is a two-story, 50,400 sq ft tilt-up structure. The facility houses programs such as nurse aide, phlebotomy, EKG, pharmacy tech, medical assisting, physical therapy assisting, and associate degree nursing. This design-build, public-private partnership (P3) project is located in Brightwater Science and Technology Park, near the Central Campus Hospital, also built by Brasfield & Gorrie. A cooperative agreement will enable students to do clinical training at the hospital, and the Allied Health Science Center will provide space for continuing education programs for hospital workers.
