As Brasfield & Gorrie celebrated the completion of construction for the New Bruno Cancer Center at St. Vincent’s in Birmingham, Ala., project manager Jason Lee celebrated his own milestone: three years since his last cancer treatment at St. Vincent’s.

Lee served as project manager for the construction of the New Bruno Cancer Center, a rewarding experience for him both personally and professionally. Designed with patients like Jason in mind, the new facility includes the latest in cancer treatment technology and incorporates patient-centered features for improved comfort, convenience, access, and privacy.

Brasfield & Gorrie joined St. Vincent’s for a blessing and ribbon cutting ceremony on Aug. 6, 2014, marking the opening of the facility, which was relocated from its previous location on 10th Avenue South.

View the video below for highlights from the blessing and ribbon-cutting ceremony, details on the facility’s construction, and Jason’s perspective on building this state-of-the-art facility that will serve patients like him.
