Preconstruction

Join Brasfield & Gorrie in our preconstruction department and you may work as an Estimator, Senior Estimator, or Chief Estimator. In all of these positions you will be exposed to a broad range of projects, and experience a great number of challenging work opportunities with little delay. B&G estimators are self-motivated individuals who are always willing to learn, explore and evolve, and will, throughout the course of their employment with us, develop the skills to completely plan, sequence, and value a wide variety of construction project types.

Operations

Operations employees at Brasfield & Gorrie are closely connected to the day-to-day progress of our projects, overseeing work performance and production of craft employees on the job, scheduling, coordinating, supervising other field workers, and, as a Supervisor, acting as a liaison with other departments to make sure things are running on time and on budget. Field Engineers require technical training and/or experience in field engineering and/or surveying, a working knowledge of a variety of construction disciplines, and an ability to supervise others to be a good candidate for employment. Superintendents must possess all of the above qualities, but also have an advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and the ability to control and supervise large groups of employees.

Corporate Services

Join Brasfield & Gorrie Corporate Services and you'll find a range of job opportunities that span accounting and financial services and employee relations to information technology, risk management and legal aid. Work in the marketing department and you'll write proposals, be involved with photography and tradeshows, manage databases and create marketing campaigns. B&G's training department provides a continuous learning environment that helps us fill our ranks with well-rounded, knowledgeable workers. And finally, Administrative Assistants at Brasfield & Gorrie assist in nearly every aspect of the firm's day-to-day operations, from paperwork to bids to serving as a liaison between subcontractors and suppliers.

Student

If you are a student enrolled in your school's co-op program, you may be a candidate for the Brasfield & Gorrie Co-operative Education program. Preferred fields of study include Engineering and Building Construction. B&G also offers internships for students already enrolled in Engineering or Building Construction disciplines. Available on single term and part-time bases, interning at B&G affords you the chance to both attend school and gain practical, hands-on experience in project management, field engineering, or cost estimating.
